HEELING FEET REFLEXOLOGY

Hi, I’m Judith - I am a fully qualified reflexologist working from my own tranquil space in Broad Chalke, Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Reflexology and complementary therapies are something I have been interested in for many years, having regular treatments myself, using aromatherapy oils in my home and then making the decision to finally dig deeper into the subject and to train as a reflexologist.

I trained as a Registered General Nurse 30 years ago and qualified in 1991. I see reflexology as an additional “string to my bow”- an extension to my skills as a nurse currently working within an NHS GP practice but with a view to taking it into hospitals, hospices as well as practising as an independent practitioner from the sanctuary of my treatment room within my own home.

My nursing career has given me a wide exposure to people and the many physical and mental health issues that are present but perhaps more importantly the recognition that the 2 are linked.

As a nurse I love the expression we are taught early on in our reflexology training “Reflexology balances the whole system” – the technical term is “homeostasis “.   Nurses are trained to care and treat individuals holistically, by using reflexology this is re enforced and homeostasis is achieved.

A Heeling Feet Reflexology treatment may be complementary to other treatment that you are receiving or an opportunity to give you the time and space to just relax.

I trained with award winning tutor Jackie James at Calming Influences and hold a VTEC Level 3 Diploma in reflexology.

I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists.
